Color altered #2 F slide. The  fixed tube coming off the change valve was filled with a soldered in liner, which made excellent air flow around the arching Tube. The other tube was designed likewise. So Now we’ll build up our new tuning/dump slide.X78dumpslide-11Possibly a better view w/o out the color altering this one is the lower of the two tubes.X78dumpslide-13It came from here.X78dumpslide-18Let me introduce you to a new high tech tool. This is a chambering reamer for the barrel of a 270 Weatherby Magnum, which is a nearly taper-less case for a high velocity long-range medium game bolt-action rifle. When the liner was removed from the tubes shown above (which will be repurposed) there was a residue of solder left in the tube which needs to be removed. X78dumpslide-19The chambering reamer was perfect to do this.X78dumpslide-17A little reinforcement ring is placed on the receiving end of the new tube.
